This policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how The Bible Dare collects, uses, and discloses information via our website located at www.thebibledare.org, including sites and platforms (e.g., social media services) where our products and services are distributed (collectively the "Site"). Certain services, which you may access via the Internet, may be provided by our third-party partners, and protection of your information relating to such services will be governed by the privacy policy of such third parties. By accessing, browsing and using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the Privacy Policy described herein.


Your Rights

Individuals have the right to obtain our confirmation of whether we maintain personal information relating to you in the United States. Upon request, we will provide you with access to the personal information that we hold about you. You may also correct, amend, or delete the personal information we hold about you. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data transferred to Bible Dare, should direct their inquiry to support@thebibledare.org. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will provide an individual opt-out choice, or opt-in for sensitive data, before we share your data with third parties other than our agents, or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. To request to limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, please submit a written request to support@thebibledare.org.

In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

We use the Personal Data we collect primarily to assist in the completion of Dares and other transactions (either directly or through third parties), and to build features that will make the Site easier to use. We may also use the information we collect to: communicate with you, including to provide customer service; monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our services; detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of Bible Dare and others; and to personalize the Site, including by providing original content, third party content or features that match user profiles or interests.

Bible Dare’s Vendors and Providers
Some of the operations we perform may require us to hire other companies to help us with these tasks. The companies we retain to assist us may have access to some Personal Data to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

External Service Providers, Event Providers, and Bible Dare Users
When you use Bible Dare, we may provide limited Personal Data other users and third- party providers related to the transactions & processes with which you choose to engage. We may ask you to transact directly with a third-party vendor including but not limited to companies such as PayPal and Venmo. For example, when you create a Dare, we may share limited Personal Data (excluding payment information) with the Daree so that the Daree knows with whom they are interacting. Additionally, we may share information with third parties to assist in processing payments or communicating with users and subscribers. These third parties may use your Personal Data for analytics, offering you other products or services, transaction completion, reporting & auditing, as well as customer service and other legitimate business uses.

Future Business Transfers
Our service is constantly changing. In the event Bible Dare goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your Personal Data will likely be among the assets transferred. Compliance with Law and Protection of Bible Dare Bible Dare reserves the right to disclose Personal Data in order to comply with the law. We may also disclose Personal Data to enforce or apply the terms and conditions applicable to our products and services, or protect the rights, property or safety of Bible Dare, our users, or others.

De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.


Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others

We may allow others to provide analytics services and serve promotional content on our behalf across the Internet. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked, information about your location, and conversion information. This information may be used by Bible Dare and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and to deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Site and other websites and applications.


Your California Privacy Rights

California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is used, stored, and shared. If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights. Specifically, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may permit you to request that we: provide you the categories of personal information we have collected or disclosed about you in the last twelve months; the categories of sources of such information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information; and the categories of third parties with whom we shared personal information. Additionally, it requires that we provide access to and/or a copy of certain information we hold about you, and, upon verified request, delete certain information we have about you. Your Choices

How You Can Access or Change Your Personal Data
Bible Dare understands that you may want to change or access your Personal Data. To change the Personal Data that is available and editable by you directly, sign-in to the Site and visit the section relating to your account. You may also submit requests to change or remove Personal Data by emailing support@thebibledare.org.

Email
If you would prefer not to receive notices of promotions from Bible Dare, you may simply opt-out from receiving them by accessing the "unsubscribe" link included within any marketing email and/or contacting Bible Dare administrators at support@thebibledare.org. Please note that, even if you opt out of promotional emails, we may still send you service-related communications.

Referral Options
If you choose to use any referral service that we may make available to tell a friend about our Site, we may ask you for your friend’s name, email address, and/or other identifying or contact information. We may send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Site and may send up to three follow up emails. Bible Dare stores this information for the purpose of sending these invitation emails and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at support@thebibledare.org to request that we remove this information from our database.

Cookies
You can always choose to not receive a cookie file by enabling a browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie. By refusing to accept cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of certain of the features and functions of our Site.


Protecting Your Personal Data

As part of our efforts to prevent unauthorized access to Personal Data, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information, we will employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. A Special Note about Children

We do not intentionally gather Personal Data from visitors under the age of 13. If a child under 13 submits Personal Data to Bible Dare and we learn that the information is of a child under 13, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we have any Personal Data from a child under 13, please contact us at support@thebibledare.org.

If Bible Dare decides to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the updated policy on this page and/or the homepage of the Site, and/or other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
